LOS ANGELES - Please join us for remarks and planting trees to celebrate the brand new Living Schoolyard at Pacoima Middle School! We are thrilled to celebrate the successful completion of our new school garden project–culminating in this final tree planting event. TreePeople removed 14,000 square feet of asphalt and installed gardens and shade trees where students learn and play. This garden will serve as a vibrant, living classroom–providing students with hands-on opportunities to learn about sustainability, nature, and the importance of caring for our environment. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project and made it a reality.
